How to manage marketing expectations in your business

Managing Customer Expectations are often key to fantastic marketing

Are you matching your customers' expectations?


All customers have expectations.  There are things that they expect whenever they buy products or services from you.  The problem is that their expectations may not match what you offer.


Customer expectations can be ascertained by talking to customers and by observing what your competitors are providing as standard.


For example the photo above, of a single butter pat for breaakfast toast, didn't match my expectations when I stayed at a B&B in the north west of England.  In most hotels and B&Bs you would get a handful of butter pats at least ….. so this B&B failed to meet my expectations amnd definately wouldn't be recommended by many people.  


Where might you better meet your customer's expectations?


Why not ask them?
