A lot of the people that contributed to the first book have also contributed to Creating Business Growth: The Last Chapter; plus we have a few new comers.
Let me tell you about some of the contributors and their chapters.
The first chapter is based on Mike’s Last Webinar when Dov Gordon interviewed him on a live webinar about his philosophy of life and his Five Questions. It is the most memorable webinar I’ve ever attended, the pathos got to me but it also had me laughing and the level of sharing had me full of hope for the future of mankind.
At Mike’s request his presentation was then turned into the written word by five of his friends. These words feature in Mike’s Last Chapter.
Then comes a bit about Project Management & Herding Cats. When Stefan Drew considered the first edition of Creating Business Growth he sought Mike’s views. Mike’s comment was that with so many marketing experts all contributing it would be like “herding cats”. So Stefan’s chapter is about herding cats; but it is about the sort of project management that we all have to get involved in as we build and manage online or physical businesses.
On the other side of the world Bnonn Tennant writes about The Value Fallacy and why most offers miss the mark. Bnonn is one of the best copywriters I’ve ever worked with.
In his chapter, The Value Fallacy: Why Most Offers Miss the Mark, Bnonn Tennant examines what makes a great offer that really offers value. He gives an example of how reframing an offer can work. In his example he shows how by reframing a company could have saved £6million. That would have added £6million to their bottom line.
Even if you don’t turn over millions this example can be used in your business. I’m not going to tell you more about how that works, you need to read Bnonn’s chapter.
Lisa starts with the story of how she first recognised the value of stories. Then she explains the power of stories, why they work in every culture and how you can use stories to build your business. Along the way she explains how to discover and craft your own story. It is a powerful chapter that will transform your life and business.
I think you’ll agree that anyone that has the inside story these chapters provide has an incredible advantage over their competitors. So getting a copy makes sense.
